Parents and families are invited to join us for a weekend filled with Halloween fun. Early Bird Registration is $32 per participant if completed by October 1st. After this date, the fee increases to $35, with registration closing on October 13th. Walk-ins are welcome at $40 per participant, depending on resource availability. Spend the morning hiking in the beautiful riparian habitat along the Santa Cruz River. Choose between a five-and-a-half-mile hike, which earns the Historic Trails Award, or a three-mile hike along the 1,200-mile Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. In the afternoon, enjoy Halloween-themed challenges (COPES) for both older and younger scout levels, including challenge ropes courses and tours of Tumacácori and Presidio Parks museums. An evening campfire program will be offered. A Catholic Mass will take place Saturday evening before dinner, with attendance being optional. This event is open to all faiths.
